PRODUCED BY AN AUTODESK EDUCATIONAL PRODUCT. So plz help me how i can. Seems some people get a hold of the educational version of AutoCAD and use it in a. AutoCAD 2019: Download Full Version With Free 3-Year License. Though this is an expensive application but to reach out every student who wants to minimize the gap between imagination and execution, Autodesk education community is providing all the applications by Autodesk with a 3-year license for free.
Issue:
When opening a drawing in AutoCAD, a warning is displayed about the file being from a student or educational version. When plotting drawings that show this message, an educational plot stamp or watermark is produced on the printout.
Drawings created using software licensed through the Education Community for some versions of AutoCAD display warning when opened and a plot stamp or watermark when are plotted or printed. This applies to software licensed by students, educators, and Autodesk-sponsored design competition mentors and competitors. It does not include software licensed by educational institutions.
AutoCAD and AutoCAD-based products 2019 and later:
Opening a drawing from a student version in a commercial version shows:
Student Version - Plot Stamp Detected
This drawing was saved with a Student Version of the product and marked with a plot stamp.
Opening a drawing from a commercial version in a student version shows:
Open Drawing - Not an Autodesk Student Version
This drawing was not created with an Autodesk Student Version of the product.
A plot or printout of the file will be marked with this text:
- PRODUCED BY AN AUTODESK STUDENT VERSION
Although the watermarks will be printed if the watermarked drawing is opened by a product with a commercial license, it will not be spread when attached or referenced to the commercial drawing.

AutoCAD and AutoCAD-based products 2014 or older:
Opening a drawing from an educational version in a commercial version shows two messages:
Educational Version - Plot Stamp Detected
This drawing will display the message, 'PRODUCED BY AN AUTODESK EDUCATIONAL PRODUCTS.' Do you want to continue?
Educational Version - File Confirmation
An educational plot stamp will be added to your plotted drawing. Are you sure you want to continue?
A plot or printout of the file will be marked with this text:
- For Educational Use Only
- PRODUCED BY AN AUTODESK EDUCATIONAL PRODUCT
A commercial drawing can inherit an educational plot stamp from pre-2015 educational drawings in two ways:
A commercial drawing is opened and saved in an educational product version earlier than 2015. When opening drawings using an educational version, the software provides up to two warnings that the plot stamp will be applied.
- A drawing that was created or edited using an educational license is opened or inserted/copied into a drawing that was created in a commercial version of the product. The target drawing can be affected by educational drawing components that are incorporated using layers, xrefs, blocks, and layouts.
Causes:
Free educational versions of software are available on the premise that the software will be used only for educational purposes. The watermark is designed to discourage commercial use of an educational version.
Removing the educational plot stamp or watermark from AutoCAD-based drawings is not permitted.
Solution:
Avoiding the problem:
If using an earlier AutoCAD product version, it is best to avoid the educational plot stamp problem altogether:
Stop accepting education watermark-stamped drawings. Tell outside companies that are providing drawings from educational product versions that they cannot be accepted.
- Review the applicable Autodesk software license agreement for each licensed product and identify cases in which educational versions of Autodesk products are being used in a manner inconsistent with the terms of the governing license agreements. This prevents inclusion of educational plot stamps in files used for professional, commercial, and for-profit purposes.

What is an Educational Watermark?
What is changing for AutoCAD 2019 and AutoCAD 2019 vertical products obtained through the Autodesk Education Community?
Autodesk® AutoCAD® 2019 and Autodesk® AutoCAD® 2019-vertical products licensed by students, educators and mentors or competitors in an Autodesk sponsored design competition through the Autodesk® Education Community will produce an education watermark. This change does not apply to multi-user or network software deployed by educational institutions.
What AutoCAD 2019 products contain the watermark?
Autodesk® AutoCAD®
Autodesk® AutoCAD® Architecture
Autodesk® AutoCAD® Civil 3D
Autodesk® AutoCAD® Electrical
Autodesk® AutoCAD® for Mac
Autodesk® AutoCAD LT®
Autodesk® AutoCAD® LT for Mac
Autodesk® AutoCAD® Map 3D
Autodesk® AutoCAD® Mechanical
Autodesk® AutoCAD® MEP
Autodesk® AutoCAD® Plant 3D- Why has a watermark been reintroduced to AutoCAD 2019 and AutoCAD 2019- vertical products?
The education watermark will support the legitimate use of Autodesk® free education licenses and help ensure students and educators continue to access the same full-product functionality as industry professionals worldwide.
Is this a global change?
Yes, this applies to all education licenses issued to students and educators for AutoCAD 2019 and AutoCAD 2019 vertical products in all languages.
How to Identify an Educational Watermark
When will the watermark be displayed?
When plotting or doing a plot preview of a drawing that was created using AutoCAD 2019 and/or AutoCAD 2019 vertical products licensed by students and educators through the Autodesk Education Community, a subtle education watermark will be displayed. A watermark is not displayed on drawings created using multi-user or network educational institution licenses.
What does the watermark look like?
When plotting or doing a plot preview of a drawing created using AutoCAD 2019 or an AutoCAD 2019 vertical product licensed by students or educators through the Autodesk Education Community, users will see this watermark:
What in-product notification informs users of the watermark?
When using a version of AutoCAD 2019 that displays an education watermark to open a drawing that was created using a commercial license of AutoCAD, the following task dialog is displayed:
When using a commercial license of AutoCAD to open a drawing that was created using a version AutoCAD 2019 that displays the education watermark, the following task dialog is displayed:
Does the education watermark display when another Autodesk software product is used to open a drawing?
The AutoCAD 2019 products listed will produce the watermark and it will persist in other products that consume AutoCAD drawings containing the watermark.
Will I see a warning dialog box when opening a drawing created using a version of AutoCAD 2019 and/or AutoCAD 2019 vertical product that displays the watermark in another Autodesk software product?
No. The warning dialog box only appears in AutoCAD-based products.
If a commercial license is used to copy, paste, insert, or reference operations from drawings created using a version of AutoCAD 2019 and/or AutoCAD 2019 vertical products that display the watermark, does the education watermark follow the parent drawing and display on other drawings in the commercial organization?
No. This “spread” behaviour does not occur with AutoCAD 2019 and/or AutoCAD 2019 vertical products.
My college lab has AutoCAD 2019 and/or AutoCAD 2019 vertical products installed. I don’t see a watermark when plotting or doing a plot preview of a drawing I created using the software in the lab. Why not?
AutoCAD 2019 and AutoCAD 2019 vertical products licensed through the Autodesk Education Community by educational institutions and installed on the educational institution’s computers or devices do not contain an education watermark. Only educational licenses for students, educators, and Autodesk-sponsored design competition competitors and mentors produce the watermark.
May I remove the education watermark in AutoCAD 2019 and/or AutoCAD 2019 vertical products?
It is intended that this watermark promotes legitimate use of AutoCAD software licensed by students and educators through the Autodesk Education Community and any action to bypass the watermark is a violation of your license terms.
Who can license educational software?
Who is eligible to license and access software through the Autodesk Education Community?
Those who are eligible for free access are:
Students and educators who need the software for individual, personal use associated with education. Participants must study or be employed at a “qualified educational institution” and may only use these licenses on a personal device for purposes directly related to learning, teaching, training, research, or development.
Educational institutions that need multi-user licensing for classroom or lab deployments to be used as part of their instruction to students. A “qualified educational institution” is an educational institution that has been accredited by an authorized governmental agency within its applicable local, state, provincial, federal, or national government and has the primary purpose of teaching its enrolled students. This includes middle schools, high schools, and higher education institutions.
Autodesk-sponsored competition mentor or competitor. An Autodesk-sponsored design competition mentor is an individual who provides guidance, advice, coaching, or instruction to competitors engaged in competing in an Autodesk-sponsored design competition. A competitor is a student or other individual who is registered and accepted or otherwise approved by a design competition organizer as a competition participant.
Read more about eligibility criteria on the Autodesk Knowledge Network. Software and cloud-based services subject to an education license may be used solely for educational purposes and shall not be used for commercial, professional, or any other for-profit purposes.
